Account data — Google sub, email, name, optional profile picture (returned by Google when you sign in).
Job metadata — input URL or filename, target language, timestamps, status, and the resulting MP4 / SRT / TXT.
Billing data — handled by Stripe; we only store a customer ID and the plan you're on, never card numbers.
Logs — minimal request logs (IP, route, status, latency) kept 30 days for abuse prevention and debugging.
What we don't collect
We do not store the audio extracted from your video beyond the duration of the job. The original file you upload is deleted after the MP4 is produced. We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
AI providers
Transcription and translation are performed by Google Gemini (model 2.5 Flash + 2.5 Pro). Per Google's API terms, content sent to the API is not used to train models. If you self-host the engine, you can swap the provider for Whisper / OpenAI / Claude / a local model — your data never reaches us in that case.
Storage location
All data is stored on AWS in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region. We use S3 for output files, DynamoDB for metadata, and Cognito for accounts. Deletion is final and propagates within 24 hours.
Stripe customer record — 7 years (legal requirement for invoicing)
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Email us at hello@2pidata.fr and we respond within 30 days.
