Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

1. Who runs belarebia

belarebia is operated by 2PiData (Miloud Belarebia, France). The hosted service is reachable at belarebia.com; the open-source engine lives at github.com/miloudbelarebia/belarebia under the MIT license.

2. What the service does

You give us a video URL or a file plus a target language. We download / extract audio, transcribe it, translate it, and burn the subtitles into an HD MP4 you can download. We also return the SRT and TXT exports.

3. Your account

Sign-in is delegated to Google via OAuth. We never see your Google password. We store your Google email, name, and (if you allow it) profile picture. You can request deletion at any time at hello@2pidata.fr.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't process content you don't have the right to translate (copyright, privacy, NDAs).
  • Don't use the service to harass, defame, deceive, or generate content that violates applicable law.
  • Don't try to overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform.
We can suspend an account that abuses the service.

5. Pricing & quota

Hosted pricing is published at /pricing. Bundles are pay-as-you-go (no recurring charge unless you opt-in to a subscription). You can self-host the engine for free.

6. Storage & deletion

Your output MP4s and transcripts are stored for 30 days then auto-deleted. You can also delete them on demand from the dashboard or via API.

7. Disclaimers

Translations are produced by AI models and may contain errors. Don't use belarebia for medical, legal, or safety-critical translations without human review. The service is provided as is, without warranty.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Paris, France.
